Fee Structure for MBBS Indian/International Students for the session of August /September 2024/25

As per decision of Medical Education Commission on Fees for MBBS Course for International Students are USD75000 calculated @ Actual Date Of Deposit ) Payable in 3 Equal Installments excluding Hostel & Mess Charges

However considering the current Market Situation, Nepal Medical College –Kathmandu -Nepal is offering Special
Package to International Students .Details As Below :-

Other fees for Indian / International Students:

Admission form charge: – INR-5000/-
KU Registration fee of IRs 25,000, KU-Affiliation fee IRs 62,000 and Nepal Medical Council (NMC) registrationIRS 3,200 (may
vary as per the respective authorities’ notice). These fees are one time only. However,the amounts shall be actual as per the
notice of Kathmandu University (KU) and Nepal Medical Council and will be applicable for the particular batch of MBBS
program.
One Time Health Insurance Coverage Charges –INR -30,000 /- shall be payable at the time of admission and students shall be
provided health coverage as per the rules NMC
University exam fee will be as KU rules.
If student fails in university exam, IRs 14,500 has to be paid for each subject to the University re-exam beside the regular
university exam fee and logistic fee.
Hostel fee (including food and other Facilities) shall be as follows:

Hostel fee includes three times meal of breakfast, lunch and dinner, Internet, laundry facilities, 20Units of
electricity per month, available sports facilities, Library, 24 hours water etc

Hostel is compulsory for all international/Indiansstudents for whole academic course and internship.
College reserves the right to punish the student if they are found or proven of doing the thing against the rules laid down by
MEC, NMC and the college.

Special Note

Candidate must have secured 50% marks in separately in PCB in 10+2 or equivalent and have NEET qualified 50 percentile (minimum score 137) National Board Entrance Examination of his/her home country. Admission of the students will be done following the rules and regulations of MEC Nepal, KU andNMC.
The above fee structure is applicable only to the candidate who does the pre-booking (Pre-booking IRs. 5,00,000.00 + IRs. 15,00,000.00 at admission time = IRs. 0,00,000.00*) before the notice of Medical Education Commission, Nepal (MEC). Without pre-booking and after the notice of MEC for entrance of MBBS, regular fee structure of MEC will be applicable.
As the student and parent have studied this rules and made decision for the pre-booking at Nepal Medical College, Kathmandu the per-booking amount IRs. 5,00,000.00 is non-refundable. However, the pre-booking amount will be refunded only in case the candidate does not get admission due to the rules and regulation of Medical Education Commission (MEC), Nepal or Nepal Medical College cancel thepre-booking.
All financial transactions regarding admission of foreign students shall be done through the Authorized Bank account of Nepal Medical College Pvt. Ltd. Only. Nepal Medical College Pvt. Ltd. Will not be liable and held responsible for any transactions done with its authorized representative, any other persons or institute in any form whatsoever. Accordingly, students, parents and guardian are cautioned to use the authorized bank details mentioned below.

Admission Eligibility: There Are Two Categerory

Foreign to Appear in MECEE-BL-2024 : Those Students Who have Qualified Neet – In Academic Year 2022-2023-2024 Below Score 50 ( Percentile ) Need to Sit For Exam and Qualify to get Seat In Their Desired College .( As Neet Is Valid For Three years as per National Medical Council –India)
Foreign No to Appear in MECEE-BL-2024 But passes national Lever Entrances Exam Of respective Country – Students Who Have Score above 50 (Percentile) doesn’t Need to Seat for Exam can Apply Direct through Neet Score. Admission is based on NEET UG – 2024 Score 50 (Percentile) & above and students must have completed 10+2 with 50% Marks in PCB each subjects.

Step 2

Upon varying the eligibility, Nepal MedicalCollege, Kathmandu will issue a provisional Offer Letter.

Step 3

You need to pay a Booking Amount of INR 5, 00,000/- in College Account as Acceptance of Offer of admission
Nepal MedicalCollege, Kathmandu and commit to fulfill the eligibility requirement set by MEC & KU.

Follow the admission process through MEC, We will help you in completing the admission process and formalities
set by MEC for 2024-25 Intake
